Orange, California is located about 32 miles southeast of Los Angeles, and is home to approximately 138,640 people. After a relaxing lunch in the picnic area (complete with barbecues), take a stroll to the Orange County Zoo to visit with over 100 birds, as well as coyotes, a mountain lion, deer, a bear, and much more. Children can feed many barnyard animals in the petting zoo including sheep, cows, and goats. Everyone will have a fabulous time during their visit to Irvine Park in Orange.
Irvine Lake could be of interest to some of the fishers out there. This lake is 700-acres, fed by the Santiago Creek, and is located near the Cleveland National Forest. Here you will discover excellent fishing, while admiring the beauty of the lake with it's overhanging trees and variety of features such as submerged high spots, deep creek channels, and shallow coves. The Vans Skate Park is another point of interest. This is perhaps the largest as well as most technically advanced skate facility. With a size of 46,000 square feet, this is a great place for anyone who loves to skateboard!

Since 1910, Orange has held the Orange International Street Fair as a celebration of the diversity in the city of Orange, California. Each year, more than 400,000 visitors arrive on Labor Day weekend to witness this spectacle. This event takes place at the Plaza Square, and is held by a not-for-profit organization.
